Finance Updates

As part of our most recent update (version 5.1 for those counting), we’ve responded to your feedback and upgraded some of our finance processes, specifically focusing on how we present payout reports (which we’ll be launching soon) and our fee calculation process.

We've introduced a fairer, more precise way of calculating our fees that uses two decimal places instead of one. So figures now round to the nearest penny rather than to the nearest 10p. But don't worry, you still have the option to round it up.

Keep your eyes peeled for the update to our payout reports, but for now enjoy this sneak peak above!

Ticket Transfer

The ticket transfer feature has been available for a while now, but when we looked into the data surrounding its usage we were truthfully a little surprised about the low uptake! We’ve now made the option to turn this on much more prominent when creating tickets, as we really believe in its utility.

This feature provides great opportunities for both event organisers and attendees. It acts as a ‘resale’ with built-in protections for students receiving the ticket - making them the sole owner. Not to mention, friends can safely and easily send over tickets that they’ve bought for their more disorganised friends. Crucially, event admins can ensure no revenue is lost by setting it to only be available once an event is sold out!

Dashboard

If you’ve logged into the platform this week you’ve probably already caught this - we’ve added a sleek new dashboard! This is one of our favourite new features; a lot of love and planning went into it and we’re confident it’s both visually stunning and carries tremendous utility. 

The dashboard acts as a landing page and can be accessed through the “Home” button in the menu, whilst the contents are entirely tailored to you based on your permissions! This can include breakdowns of historical sales figures, overviews of upcoming events, and sets of quick links relevant to your user profile.
